Colorado Parks and Wildlife held a news conference on the fatal mountain lion attack in Larimer County — a woman was found dead after hikers spotted the animal and two mountain lions were euthanized.

On Thursday at 12:15 p.m. near Glen Haven, a woman was fatally attacked while hiking on the Crosier Mountain Trail and state wildlife officers later euthanized two mountain lions per CPW policy.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating a suspected mountain lion attack in unincorporated Larimer County south of Glen Haven after several trailheads were closed — a crew is headed to the scene and the public is advised to avoid the area.
