NOCO Humane named Cynthia Setel as its new CEO as of March 2 — she replaced longtime leader Judy Calhoun, who retired Feb.

27. Setel, who previously worked with public agencies in Washington, said she will retain the organization’s strategic priorities.

Loveland-based OneCanopy grows 1 million trees and native plants annually as it works to become the largest producer of reforestation plants by the end of 2027 (its mission supports local ecosystem restoration).

Daylight saving time will begin on March 8 when clocks jump from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. (Colorado legislators have opposed the twice-annual change citing health risks, but the switch will continue until federal law is revised.)
