Danny O'Connor is a Loveland boxer who formed the DO Boxing Academy to help at-risk youth overcome challenges and learn discipline.
He will start working with Thompson School District this week—bringing boxing training into several schools to offer new opportunities.
🏛️ Government
U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert will host a teletown hall tomorrow at 7 p.m. and voters must register by 4 p.m. to join a live call where she will answer questions on property rights, ranch support and water management across the 4th District—covering Loveland and nearby areas.
Mobile office hours in Loveland were canceled due to parking concerns—plans to reschedule are underway.
Retired train conductor Brad Swratzwelter proposed on March 24th a plan to shift semi-truck traffic off I-70 by loading trucks onto trains through the Moffitt Tunnel to reduce congestion and improve safety.
The proposal aims to lower emissions & reduce economic losses while a feasibility study begins and Colorado legislators review the plan.

CSU students and staff were shocked Monday morning when head coach Niko Medved left after nearly reaching the Sweet 16 to take a job at Minnesota (he coached the team for seven seasons).
The school has promoted an assistant coach (serving as interim head coach) as it begins a national search for a new head coach.
