- ➤ A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of intentionally starting a house fire near Big Barnes Ditch that caused significant property damage with no injuries, and police said he was linked to suspicious activity on March 19 and an earlier residential fire on March 20. Denver7

- ➤ Colorado State University is seeking 800 volunteers to support its spring commencement events from May 15 to 18 as the university prepares its first all-campus ceremony since 1998. The main ceremony on May 16 at Canvas Stadium (4:30 to 6 p.m., closed to the public) will feature Eugene Daniels as the speaker while 37 recognition ceremonies will host more than 30,000 attendees. - ➤ Colorado State Patrol will launch its Buckle Like A Boss campaign from April through August to ticket teenagers not wearing seat belts (troopers investigated over 300 crashes in March 2024 involving drivers aged 16 to 21).
