A teenage boy in Northern Colorado got help from Loveland Police to arrange a prom proposal after calling for their assistance and getting his family’s approval; officers Hurst and MacArthur arrived Friday night with lights on—briefly chirping their siren to cue the surprise when the girl stepped outside and said yes.

Greeley City Council voted 5—2 on April 18 to approve plans for a project that will build a new hockey stadium for the Colorado Eagles—who now play at Blu Land Arena in Loveland—and an entertainment hub.

The development will take place on a 300-acre site along Highway 34 and include housing, retail and restaurants as the project moves forward.
