At 1:13 a.m. on April 21, a stolen maroon Kia Sorento fired several rounds at a Subaru Legacy on I-25 near the Berthoud exit, nearly hitting the driver, and the Colorado State Patrol is asking anyone with information to call 911 or 303-239-4501—do not engage the suspect.

Crews will finish building a dam 350 feet tall by mid to late June so that water starts filling Chimney Hollow Reservoir early July southwest of Loveland.

Northern Water said the reservoir will slowly reach half its 90,000 acre feet capacity by late 2025 or early 2026 and be fully ready by 2027—Larimer County will open adjacent recreation space then.
