Colorado first responders are biking from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins to honor fallen officer Evan Dunn and raise funds in his memory — the group will host local stops along the route to engage communities.

Today is Colorado Public Lands Day, a state holiday established in 2016 to honor 22 million acres of public lands and many parks, trails, and forests available for outdoor activities.

Residents are encouraged to enjoy hiking, biking, and camping—while checking local sites for any entrance fees or events.
