New bison calves were born to the Laramie Foothills Bison Conservation Herd on June 20 at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area, 25 miles north of Fort Collins.
The 2015 herd—produced from Yellowstone genetics—now includes 56 bison, and CSU associate professor Jennifer Barfield helped launch it.
