On June 23, a sample of mosquitoes from southeast Fort Collins tested positive for West Nile virus, as announced by the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment.
No human cases were reported yet and residents are urged to use EPA-approved repellent + drain standing water in their yards to reduce risk.
