Jefferson County deputies responded to a road rage incident in Clear Creek Canyon on August 2 when a suspect fired a gun, tossed evidence in a pond, and rammed a deputy's car—two suspects then fled into a Golden Ridge apartment complex in Golden and were arrested around 9 a.m.—with no injuries reported and several weapons recovered.

On August 2, Colorado Rapids fans and Santos Laguna fans held different tailgates before the Rapids played their first Leagues Cup game, with supporters eating burgers and hot dogs while Santos fans enjoyed tacos and cumbias.

Supporters are now gearing up for today's game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park against Tijuana — the team will next face Cruz Azul in L.A.
