- ➤ Loveland officials announced that the temporary South Railroad Facility shelter—opened in April 2023 to give overnight aid—will close by Sept. 30 due to changes in encampment ordinances. City representatives added that the Loveland Resource Center will continue offering daytime services and serve as an emergency shelter during severe weather while discussions on future solutions continue.
