  • Loveland City Council held an emergency meeting on Thursday night to discuss extending the permit for the closed South Railroad Facility shelter, but the vote ended in a 4-4 tie—residents voiced concerns over property impacts and the lack of nighttime shelter options while city manager Jim Thompson said an executive session on Tuesday would address long-term plans.  Denver7
