  • This November, registered Loveland voters will see a new $99M bond measure on the ballots for the Thompson School District to upgrade aging school facilities without raising taxes — district officials say the funding will be used for repairs, ADA improvements, and safety measures based on each school’s needs.  Denver7

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Fort Collins and Larimer County purchased a 675-acre Buckhorn addition to Bobcat Ridge Natural Area to stop a planned housing development and add to its 20-mile trail system.   • Colorado Parks and Wildlife is talking with Alaska officials about capturing 10 to 15 wolves for release in Colorado this winter—officials say the plan is a backup since trade issues may limit wolves from Canada.
