New data shows gas prices now average $2.95 per gallon, the lowest since May 2021, as higher refinery output & lower crude oil prices drive a broad decline across all states.
Loveland drivers may see similar relief at the pump as these trends continue.
🏛️ Government
Earlier this year, Colorado passed a law that makes rental companies tell customers if a car meets winter safety rules on I-70, so renters must use all-wheel drive vehicles or add chains when needed.
CDOT and the State Patrol held a briefing in Georgetown on December 2 to explain the rules (including tire tread requirements) (with fines possible for violations).
